Shipping, Delivery, and Returns
Delivery & Dispatch Information
At Just Catering Equipment, we aim to get your new commercial kitchen gear to you as quickly and smoothly as possible. We ship all orders from our suppliers to leverage their delivery networks, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient service across Australia.
Dispatch and Delivery Times

Dispatch: We typically process orders within 24-48 business hours (Monday-Friday, excluding public holidays).

Delivery: Once your order is on its way, please allow for the following estimated delivery times:

2-4 business days: Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne metro areas.

3-6 business days: Adelaide, the Gold Coast, Wollongong, and Newcastle.

5-10 business days: Perth.

7-14 business days: All other regional areas.

Please note that all delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed, as we use third-party courier services.
How Delivery Works
We use a network of trusted couriers to handle deliveries. For large, bulky items like fridges or ovens, the courier will always contact you at least 24 hours before and again about one hour before delivery to ensure you're available to receive the goods. This helps avoid costly failed deliveries.
For smaller items, the courier may not contact you prior to delivery. If you're not available, a card will be left with instructions for collection from a local depot or post office.
Important Delivery Considerations

Standard Kerbside Delivery: Our standard delivery service is a kerbside drop-off. This means the item is delivered to the nearest accessible point to your premises—typically a driveway, loading bay, or front door. It does not include bringing the item inside, taking it upstairs, or removing packaging.

Check Dimensions: Before placing your order, it's crucial to measure your doorways, hallways, and any corners to ensure the equipment will fit in its final location. We cannot accept returns if an item does not fit and this would be considered a change of mind.

Receiving Your Order: We highly recommend inspecting your delivery for any signs of damage before you sign for it.

If you see obvious, significant damage, you have the right to refuse the delivery.

If the packaging looks fine, please open and inspect the contents within 24 hours of delivery. If you find any transit damage, you must notify us immediately so we can file a claim with the courier.

Packaging: Please do not discard the original packaging. In the event of a return or warranty claim, the item must be in its original, undamaged packaging.
Returns, Refunds, & Fees
Change of Mind & Restocking Fees

We do not accept returns for change of mind after 14 days from the date of purchase.

A restocking fee of up to 25% of the item's value may apply to any returns that are not a result of a manufacturing fault or transit damage. This fee covers costs charged to us by our suppliers and is a necessary measure to avoid unnecessary costs.
Common scenarios that may incur a fee:

You are not present to receive a scheduled delivery, leading to a re-delivery fee.

The item does not fit through a doorway or into its designated space, as this is considered a change of mind.

You refuse a delivery and the item must be returned to the warehouse.
Warranty Claims
All our products come with a manufacturer's warranty. To initiate a warranty claim, please contact our team directly. We will provide you with the necessary information to get your equipment serviced or repaired. Unauthorised repairs will void your warranty.

Warranty Exclusions: Warranty claims do not cover:

Damages from misuse, improper installation, or accident.

Consumable parts like seals, blades, or bulbs.

Travel time for technicians to remote areas.

Repairs conducted outside of normal business hours unless pre-authorised.
